“A well-repaired board goes back in the water like new.”

I'm Jesús, though everyone calls me Chuy. I repair surfboards and any water gear: dings, rails, fins and paddleboards. I work out of San José, with pickup and drop-off at Costa Azul or by the Walmart in Vista Hermosa, whichever is closer for you.

Every repair gets the resin and cloth your board needs, then it's sanded and sealed so no water gets in. A simple ding is usually ready in a few days; bigger jobs I quote in chat before I start.

Good to know

How long does a repair take?
Most dings are ready in two or three days. I tell you exactly when to expect your board when you drop it off.
What can you fix?
Dings, cracks, crushed rails, broken fins and fin boxes — most damage short of a snapped board. If something isn’t worth fixing, I’ll tell you honestly.
Where do I drop off my board?
After you book, I message you the exact drop-off spot and we agree on a time that works.
How much does it cost?
The listed price covers a standard ding. If the damage is bigger, I’ll send you a price before starting any extra work.
